The beginning of one of my favorite arcs.

The part where Sidney falls on the professional scammer's trap, is great. And the way she's trying to get out of it later, is hysterical. I think season 5 suffered too much from its inability to find its footing soon enough. It's true it had big shoes to fill, after the previous seasons wild storylines. But still managed to revive the show, around the second half. The more we get to Kimberly's death, the better the season gets. With satisfying twist and turns, and its chaotic way of knowing exactly where it wants to go. Megan and Michael are finally together, in a more rewarding manner. Kyle and Taylor's lies are out on the open, in an even more enjoyable way. And for the first time in Melrose Place, they sort of broke the fourth wall, when Alison, Sam and Jake even, start indulging in the sense of voyeurism, the show was famous for each week. I don't mind Matt's niece, but I remember she became very whiny and annoying afterwards. I still like Kimberly around, though it was clear writers were done with her at that point. And she wasn't the main concern this time. The title of the episode is a nice pun, they had several of these back then. And I really like the music lately, this episode especially had a Lilith Fair vibe concert, with songs by Patti Rothberg and Shawn Colvin, on the TV soundtrack.
