  Michael Anthony : Yes, a cashier's check for a million dollars - a tax-free gift.

  Doris : [Accepts check]  Who would give me a million dollars?

  Michael Anthony : An anonymous benefactor, who must remain anonymous.

  [Producing another document from his briefcase] 

  Michael Anthony : Uh, you must sign this agreement not to reveal the source or the amount of this money. If you do, the donor will reclaim it. Uh, you may, of course, tell your husband if you should marry.

  Doris : [Remembering her very recent separation]  If I should marry.

  Michael Anthony : Uh, will you sign here? Then the money is yours with to do with as you please.

  Doris : As I please.

  [Doris signs the pledge]
