Terry might have found romance with Dolly, the young widow of a bookmaker.
The only thing is. Each time Terry has a date with Dolly, something delays him.
Especially when he has to chaperone another bookie called Barry (Michael Medwin) around town. The only thing is Barry has been robbed of the winnings he was meant to drop off to Ray (Nigel Davenport). An antiques dealer and a bit of a gangster.
Terry got injured trying to get the money back from the robber but later finds out that Barry had set it all up. He is skint and Ray wants his money.
Meanwhile Arthur is on the lookout for vintage fireplaces as they are back in fashion. Only to be ripped off by Ray's antique expert.
This is a diverting episode and rather light on plot. An age is spent with Ray and his goons at Barry's place valuing items for the debt owed to him. At least the actors seem to be having a good time.
Terry should listen to Dollys' advice. He will never have a proper relationship if he hangs about with Arthur.
