I wish I'd watched this one with my wife, as she was a huge Parker Stevenson fan back when he was on "The Hardy Boys"....especially because in this episode of "Mission: Impossible" he plays a serial killer!! The mission is to try to get a confession out of him, as he's likely murdered a young princess from an important Arab oil nation...and her disappearance has soured relations between the countries. They prove he's the killer and prosecute him, then her daddy and his nation will be grateful.
To do this one, the first convince Champ that he has a new BFF...a fellow psychopath who admires his work! Then, they use a stage mentalist act to convince him the man has amazing supernatural powers. Where exactly does all this go? See the show.
This is a mildly interesting episode. Part of the time I wondered why they went to so much trouble...taking him hostage and torturing him would have gotten the results sooner...but alas, that is NOT the IM Force way! A good episode.
