Of all the Munsters episodes this is one of my favorites. I especially love the ending with the Fergosi descendant. His hidden laboratory in his office and his staunch determination to keep his family ties a secret. Excellent acting and great plot line throughout! NOW, bring on the piping hot bat milk and chocolate chip cookies please?

A Cursed Ring
Jimmy_the_Gent46 November 2018
Eddie gives Marilyn a gift of an emerald ring he found, but Grandpa says it has a curse on it which gives bad luck to the wearer.

A very funny episode, one of the best. After Marilyn and Lily both get horrible luck from wearing the ring called the Fregosi emerald, skeptical Herman puts it on but cannot get it off. Grandpa decides to find a descendant of the Fregosi family to remove the curse. Some of the funniest moments are provided by two guest actors, neither of them were or became big names. Louise Glenn plays a nasal voiced operator who gives Grandpa information on the Fregosi kin, it is a showy scene for her and she is very funny, but she never got any better roles. Paul Reed (the captain of Car 54 Where Are You) plays Henry J Fregosi, chairman of the board of an automobile company. He is hilarious as an auto exec who turns into a cackling mad scientist who takes the curse off the ring.
