Herman The Pop Star
Jimmy_the_Gent415 October 2018
Eddie borrows his friend's tape recorder and Herman records a song on it. It turns out Eddie's friend's father is a DJ and plays the recording on his show.

A very funny episode. Herman sings the old folk song Dry Bones and he becomes a hit. The family hears the song on the radio not knowing it's Herman and think it's awful. Garry Owens (later of Laugh In) plays the DJ. Herman starts acting conceited and the family wants to stop his music career. Lily has some funny nightmares about Herman on a Shindig type show (dressed like Marlon Brando from The Wild One). Funniest scene is Grandpa ruining Herman's voice with "nothin muffins". His voice sounds like one of the Chipmunks!
