The only episode in which The Announcer is actually seen and not just heard.
The plot of this episode is based around Gene Kelly not wanting to perform and, in particular, not wanting to sing his iconic song "Singin' in the Rain." In real life, when Kelly agreed to do the show, he told the producers, "I'll do anything you want, but I don't want to do 'Singin' in the Rain.'' As usual, the Muppets got their way and Kelly sings the song at the end of the episode.
During the final number, Miss Piggy's dog Foo-Foo is seen sitting on the perch backstage normally reserved for Gaffer the cat.
