This episode was originally scheduled to air on November 24, 1963 but it was preempted by the coverage of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy two days earlier.
The title of this episode refers to a commercial airing at that time by the Italian Swiss Colony winery which ended by the spokes character saying, "That little old wine maker, me." The character was played by Ludwig Stössel, but the voice-over was done by Jim Backus. In addition, Dean Martin also parodied the commercial with a song "That Little Old Wine Drinker, Me".
Tim opens a book and reads the opening lines of Percy Bysshe Shelley's "To a Skylark."
