The title is based on the song "Tea for Two" from the 1925 musical "No, No, Nanette" with music by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Irving Caesar.
The nurses at the hospital are wearing caps on their head as part of the nursing uniform. This was a traditional as part of nursing uniforms at the time and were based on caps worn by Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, based on her medical service during the Crimean War (1853-56).
