A totally gutless and poor excuse for a human being whimpering like a baby and crawling on all fours, like a cockroach, that almost made him puke in thinking that that was the father that he was looking for all these years! Besides the shock of finding out what a total wimp his old man was and still is Frank runs into far more serious trouble in his landlady Mrs. Wilson, Madeleine Sherwood, who has to hots for him and whom he spurred is now accusing Frank of being a child molester. That in Frank having a totally innocent relationship with 12 year old Aggie Padgett, Laurie Heineman, whom he met at the Central Park Zoo.
It's when Pop Childe's is given another chance to redeem himself in standing by his son Frank against the false child molesting charges brought against him by the vengeful Mrs. Wilson he like the gutless wonder and sniveling coward that he is turns and runs straight out of his life. Thus leaving his son Frank on his own and his little friend Aggie who was looking forward to meet him in total hysterics! So is the sad and tragic life of Frank L. Childe a man who just can't get a break in life and is destined for a cold jail cell or an early unmarked grave!
***SPOILERS*** What by far is the most tragic event in the entire episode is that Aggie's parents Harry & Ginny Padgett, Peter Collins & Marilyn Lovell, who she ran for help in proving Frank's innocence are about as interested in her and her friend Frank's problems as much as their interested in the local weather reports on the planet Pluto. The Naked City episode ends with the heart broken, in her friend Frank being taking away by the police, Aggie running aimlessly through the streets of NYC as the police try to catch her and prevent Aggie from getting killed before she gets hit by a car or truck that smashes into her.
