It's obvious where the show is going in this episode which starts with Fran bring upset by the news that Maxwell has arranged for her parents, Val, Grandma Yetta, Niles, C.C. and the children to join her. Niles realizes that C.C. is his good luck charm at the crap tables, and Grandma Yetta keeps searching for someone's shirt to hang onto so she won't fall. Once again, Fran gets involved with the wrong man which lsXz her closer to Maxwell.
Another continuing soap opera like episode for the sitcom to advance the continuing story that shows Fran with Maxwell and the children acting completely like family. Anyone who sees them together would assume they were family. It's a very colorful episode set away from the townhouse where Fran really gets to show off her figure in a bathing suit while on the beach and shake her groove thing in the Caribbean. A lot of fun even if calculating and an indication of what caused the show to jump the shark.
