Tony Randall is terrific as his father the eye specialist treating Blinky Madison; Oscars father. The idea that their fathers knew each other is absurd but who cares ? The initial meeting in the doctors office and then in the speakeasy are very funny..Dr Unger believing the dive is Blinky Madison's playroom ! And the dialogue is sharp and funny .."Is that a fact ?" Yup!

Felix returns from a visit with relatives who tell him a story about his and Oscar's fathers in the 1930s gangland Chicago. He tells Oscar that his father tried to kill Felix's father.
A funny episode perhaps inspired by the hit film "The Sting" which was set in the 1930s. It is fun to see Randall and Klugman playing different characters for nearly the whole episode. Randall wears a mustache and affects a nasally voice as Felix's father and Klugman sheds his toupee playing Oscar's dad. Elisha Cook Jr (most famous as the gun toting psycho in "The Maltese Falcon") has a great cameo as a hit-man called "Heel" because he kills people with his silver heeled shoe.
