The title refers directly to the opening sequence of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), which is parodied in an extended scene in which Victor gets frustrated after spilling a large box of polystyrene in his back garden, and begins whacking the smaller bits with a large piece of the stuff. The scene devolves into slow-motion, which cues the inevitable: Richard Strauss's fanfare from "Also Sprach Zarathustra", one of the most recognisable themes ever heard in films.
