First appearance of Burr Redding. When talking to McManus and Said, Burr mentions that he was in Vietnam "where they taught me how to kill women and children". Anthony Chisholm, who plays Redding, was a combat veteran who served in Vietnam and was a drill sergeant after the war.
Morales tells Bian "everyone on your side of the world does everything backwards" when it comes to names and language, Bian rebuts "maybe it is you who are backwards". Bian would be correct, China has one of the oldest spoken languages in the world dating back to at least 4,000 BC, and the oldest written language still in use dating back to 2,500 BC. Their language and writing predates even the earliest versions of the English language by over 2,000 years.
