Polished Patty
JordanThomasHall29 May 2020
Patty has tried out for and been given a spot in the school orchestra. The instrument she has been given to play is the tuba (actually a sousaphone). Her practicing of the repetitive dull, deep notes mixed with shrill missed notes gets under the skin of her family. Martin slowly becomes a nervous wreck. Patty becomes serious about "the finer things in life" and once again looks upon Richard as below her. She goes to a performance by an avant garde composer with snooty "musical genius" Eddie Blake (Mathew Anden), son of the orchestra conductor. Martin and Natalie hope Patty will look more favorable at Richard once again.
