The exact date of Mr. and Mrs. Lane's 20th wedding anniversary is not ever given, only the day of the month, i.e. 14, and the day of the week, i.e. Friday. One could infer that the month is May because Ross suggests that the only significance to the date of his parent's anniversary is Yogi Berra's birthday, which is in May, but, actually, May 12, and, besides, May 14, 1964, is a Thursday. In 1964, only August and February contained a Friday the 14th, and February 14 was in 1964, as it is every year, Valentine's Day, which is very unlikely to be the date of the anniversary since this episode originally aired in March 1964. But Valentine's Day does make a fitting tribute to 20 years of marriage.
Gerry Granahan, who wrote the song Patty Duke sings, i.e. "Tell Me Mama," also produced other songs that Patty Duke recorded for her singing career.
