Eugene is forced to defend a white supremacist who drove a young man to commit murder in his name (though he denies this). Jamie gets herself in a hopeless case and only a bolt from the blue can save her career. Meanwhile the lawyers are going to get the wife/lover murderer off for a premeditated slaughter. But they can't use an insanity plea because of a psychiatric evaluation.
