Jeff is approached by Harry Wallis, who used to be the partner of Marty's father in The Olive. The pair were responsible for the death of vicious villain Sidney Crabbe, who's back and wants revenge.
It doesn't surprise me that this is the highest rated episode from the first series, it's perhaps the best one. The story is very imaginative, but the characters are great.
Two actors with real comedy talent, Paul Whitehouse and Mark Benton are both great here, both showing they can do villainous turns equally well.
The music video to Nina Persson's song featured Paul Whitehouse, and you can hear it playing here.
A nice nod to the original series, that really was a nice touch, and we get to learn about limbo and The Waiting room, that would play a part in future episodes.
Was this Vic Reeves actually singing? If so he's got a very nice singing voice.
Some of the effects look dated now, but at the time it looked good, definitely quirky.
Very good, 8/10.
