- Harv's chest is crushed by a wagon. The closest doctor is female who the men don't trust. Complicating the situation a quack in the town is plotting to have her run out of town to save his business.
- A wagon overturns crushing Harv who prevents Rowdy from being hurt. They determine a real doctor is needed but they find the nearby town has a quack pretending to be a doctor and a new female doctor no one trusts including the drovers. After finishing with a patient who learned she has leprosy and must leave the community, the doctor rides to their camp and determines she needs to operate on Harv at her office. At her office Harv and Rowdy try to stop her but Favor has her operate. Meanwhile the female patient is shot accidentally by her husband the mayor when he thinks she is leaving with another man based on a note she left him. The quack doctor decides to use this to help push the female doctor out of town to eliminate competition. The drovers are forced to help the doctor so she can continue to help save Harv.—Anonymous
- Seeking medical help for a drover with a crushed chest, Favor must choose between a male quack and a feisty, fledgling lady doctor beset by the prejudice of the town and the hostility of the quack. She also has the problem of comforting a dying lady patient trying to hide her leprosy (in its early stages) from her husband. Further trouble arises when the leper is accidentally killed, the Lady Doc is wrongfully blamed, and the sheriff tries to arrest her, jeopardizing the treatment of the drover-patient. Meanwhile Favor tries to protect the doc and teach her some social skills. Eric Fleming, the star of the show, co-wrote the episode.—chipe
