The Gil Favor cattle drive runs into the thing all cowboys hate, sheep and the
shepherds who guide them. The Shepherd in this case is Richard Basehart who
feels just about the same about steers and drovers.
But he gets into an accident falling on his own knife in a fight with Clint Eastwood and Eric Fleming not wanting to be responsible for anything has Paul Brinegar patch him up and it's Rowdy Yates's job to escort to a real doctor and to his sheepherding clan headed by Will Wright.
After Eastwood is roughed up and jailed for being a sheepherder and he sees the family and what they've had to endure with cattle interests, Rowdy Yates has some attitudes soften. The two sides have to talk to settle their differences as they all of a sudden face a common foe.
It's a good episode mostly for both Richard Basehart and future big screen legend Clint Eastwood.
