• Gil Favor : Bah. When, when are you meatballs ever going to learn? Those are renegades out there you want to deal with, They got no honesty, their word don't mean nothing. As long as each side has got a hostage, it's a stand-off, no matter what they threaten. They won't kill Hey Soos for fear we'd kill McKeever. As long as we got him, he's our insurance that Hey Soos stays alive. We'll trade when the odds favour us.

  Rowdy Yates : Well, I don't see it that way.

  Gil Favor : No, you don't. Do you really think for one minute, if we turn McKeever and the money back, they'll gonna let Hey Soos go? He can identify every one of them. Smartest thing in the world they could do is for them to kill him. And that's just what they'd do.

  Rowdy Yates : These men are soldiers. They're gonna fight by rules of war.

  Gil Favor : They're trash, they ain't got no rules. In any case this is the way it stands, You can go along with the herd or tuck your tail between your legs and take off.
