  Mrs. Colburn : They won't pass through the town. How are they gonna hear he's innocent if they don't pass through the town? How? Jim still thinks he's an outlaw. He can't go where people are.

  Johnny Yuma : He's gonna need a fresh horse and some food. Where'd he go for that? Who're his friends?

  Mrs. Colburn : He had a lot of them before this happened.

  Johnny Yuma : You didn't tell the posse that?

  Roy Keller : Well, I, I could hardly be expected to withhold information.

  Trapper : I'll be the one to decide that.

  Jim Colburn : What's that supposed to mean?

  Johnny Yuma : Well, you were cleared of the murder charge but you ran up some debts along the way.

• Johnny Yuma : The trapper got his horse back, your Honour. Mr Garcia got his gun and his money.

  Manuel Garcia : What you want? Say gracias?

  Trapper : Huh! I say gracias when he is in jail.

  Manuel Garcia : And my house that I built, nothing but ashes.

  Jim Colburn : It was an accident, a mistake. Like my getting almost hung was a mistake.

  Manuel Garcia : Bah!
