  Jim Rockford : [snorts in disbelief]  Gabby and Gandy - sounds like a puppet show.

  Tom Flannery : [condescending voice]  Mr. Hayes this is Tom Flannery at Limousine World. How much longer are you going to need our car, sir, on a trial basis before you decide to buy it?

  Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : Well, Mr. Flannery, I may need it a little longer, you see, I've been thinking of buying a fleet of five or six...

  Tom Flannery : [voice becomes obsequious]  Of course, Mr Hayes! Take as long as you like!

  Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : [chuckles]  Thanks my good man.

  Gandolph Fitch : Hayes, without your mouth you'd be just like me!

• Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : [Searching for the heir, Marcus and Gandy walk into a bar - a Nazi bar. Everyone - dressed in their Third Reich-best costumes - turns to stare at the 2 men. Gandy defers to Marcus to do the talking. They stroll up to the bar, and Marcus asks for a Martini - which the bartender ignores - silently staring at the two men, as well]  This is a nice place you have here. You know, the nice thing about this country? That people from all political walks of life can coexist. Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Socialists, Nazis.

• Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : [Marcus and Gandy have just trashed the Crystal Palace bar, a bar full of neo-Nazis, and the bartender's pushed the silent alarm. With the sound of a police siren fast approaching, Marcus - holding a shotgun - shares a bit of philosophy]  Before I leave, I would like to give you people my feelings and right wing extremists, and neo-Nazism, in particular

  Gandolph Fitch : [Sirens are getting closer]  Let's go!

  Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : The strength of this country is in the blue collar middle classes. Now, Marx, Lenin, and even Nietzsche even, to a lesser-°, all believe that the working class had to be destroyed beyond recognition, before the government would follow. Now, I personally believe, however,

  [Marcus chuckles] 

  Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : that the American middle class is totally indestructible. Now, think about that. There'll be a quiz after the Watts parade.

• Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : [Marcus knocks on Jim's trailer - looking for Jim, to see if he can glean any information out of him. Jim's not there - having gone to San Diego, but, Rocky's there, and not knowing Marcus isn't a parole officer, anymore, nor that she's being 'pumped', gladly tells Marcus everything]  You 'keep on truckin'!

  Joseph 'Rocky' Rockford #2 : Oh, I quit. I'm retired.

  Marcus 'Gabby' Hayes : [Marcus smiles, and chuckles]  No, Mr. Rockford, that's an expression, you know, like, uh; 'hang in there'.

  Joseph 'Rocky' Rockford #2 : Oh

  [Rocky chuckles]

  [Marcus chuckles, and exits the trailer]
