One of the best S W A T episodes. Death Score has a great story. A mix of Diehard meets S W A T. A basketball team is taken hostage Diehard style, posing as a film crew by a mastermind. Posing as terrorist but just a group of mercenaries. The take down is fast and meticulous, and Hondo has his hands full. Well acted, directed, and executed I thought what an a entertaining episode. Hondo and company make a counter plan to disrupt the Terrorists. I will not give away anything here. BUT the van in the arena basement scene is totally awesome. Never saw that coming. Probably the best episode of the season. 8 stars.

Robert Webber stars as a scheming scum-bag in this episode of "S.W.A.T.". The show begins with Webber paying some knucklehead to start shooting up the street and tossing terrorist literature into the streets. When the guy is caught, he claims to be a Muslim from a large terrorist organization. However, he's actually a decoy--to get the team to be on the lookout for more retributions by his friends. However, the REAL score involves Webber and his team taking a pro basketball team (a very SHORT one, actually--and one with very few players!) hostage and demanding $2,000,000 for their release--and also claiming to be part of this same organization!! Unfortunately, while Webber is quite professional about it, one of his henchmen is a bit of a hair-triggered loony! Sounds a little ridiculous? Yup. But it is reasonably entertaining and well made--though you wonder how a guy who looks and talks like Webber ever thought he'd be mistaken for a Middle Eastern terrorist is beyond me. Perhaps the terrorist part was added later to pad the episode! Take that, scum-bags! Think about it...trying to give Middle Eastern terrorists a bad name!
