The MacGuffin in this episode is a stolen letter from Eisenhower that might damage the Agency's credibility if it can't be produced.
Howard Duff plays the Agency's "founder" who is now retired, and who has never learned the proper way to hold a cat. This episode lost points in my estimation for the poor kitty.
Lee (and Amanda) get a new office all their own (provided they clean it up first) and the show steals an idea from "Goldfinger" though it's not so blatant here. Lee gets hit in the belly with the stock of a gun but keeps on ticking.
Also introduced is Amanda's new neighbor played by Frank Bonner ("WKRP in Cincinnati").
