This has a pretty good cast. Howard Duff was a significant actor at this time and adds a bit of reality to his role. He is a top researcher, working for the government. Somehow, the German scientists have latched on to information about a secret weapon. Duff is the source, yet a series of phone calls he supposedly made never really happened. He comes under investigation for treason and the murder of an elderly scientist (they were never safe in these shows). Anyway, the plot revolves around how these calls were made and accepted by people in authority. Duff sticks to his guns and gets things to work out. It's the "how" that is intriguing. This is a pretty decent episode. It also stars Whitt Bissle, a kind of cool character actor who must have been in a thousand of these types of shows.
