Lovely Shelly Smith, making her third of four appearances on "Simon and Simon," plays an heiress who practically seduces S&S into acting as bodyguards on her father's venture to locate gold in Mexico. But does she have a hidden agenda? This is "Simon and Simon." You tell me. I'll give nothing away.
Also featuring old timers Lew Ayres and Elisha Cook, Jr. (Best known as the "gunsel" from "The Maltese Falcon").

Anyway, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" it ain't, though Ayres gets to do little dance (like Walter Huston in that flick).
Worth watching for the once-popular Smith. I just heard she passed away less than a year before this writing. Too bad.
