Though not heard, the song "Sympathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones is referenced four times through various dialogue directly alluding to Ralph as The Devil: -Ralph to the surgeon: "Please, allow me to introduce myself." -Ralph to Father Intintola: "Pleased to meet you." -Father Intintola to Ralph: "Were you there, when Jesus Christ had his moment of doubt and pain?" -Tony to Paulie: "Paulie, his kid's in the hospital. A little fucking sympathy, huh?"
During the scene in which Ralph and his ex-wife get into an argument, a picture that reads "Safe Families, Everybody Needs One" can be seen on the wall. The same picture could be seen above Meadow and AJ when they were in the hospital in Isabella (1999).
While Junior is out getting his paper, a dog walking by is called "Nips." This is the same dog from I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano (1999).
At one point, a bowling ball is heard falling down stairs. In The Telltale Moozadell (2001), Tony is watching the film It's a Gift (1934), in which a coconut is seen falling down stairs. Additionally, Junior is knocked down the stairs outside the courthouse in the beginning of the episode.
Michael Imperioli revealed on his podcast Talking Sopranos that Christopher's famous "I did-dent!" line was a genuine flub by Michael.
