Mike again feel out of the Mayor's loop
kfo949414 January 2015
Mike feels so 'out of the loop' as Catlin is making the Mayor's schedule. And when the Mayor and Catlin appear together on a magazine cover, Mike is bound to get back in the limelight. That afternoon he finds out that the Mayor is again suppose to meet for a magazine article. Mike comes in while the interview is going on and then acts like he is really close to the Mayor. In fact, he acts too close. The magazine happens to be a gay publication and the headline reads "The Mayor comes out".

Another story, that actually was very funny, was that City Hall restroom now has a attendant. Of course this pushes Paul over the edge as he is not one that will pay for restroom privileges-- but he can still take the privilege.

The episode did have some good moments plus a nice filler story about Stuart and his new paper-weight. Most of the story dealt with Mike feeling left out of the Mayor's daily activities. That is a nice theme but one that has continued for a few weeks. Not to say this is a bad script, quite the contrary, the show was entertaining. But just like the Mike Nikki relationship, it could wear thin if continued. It is not there yet which makes this episode a nice watch.
