A hull breach and subsequent failure of the emergency force field would be instant death in a high pressure environment ("Hull pressure at two million GSC and rising"). However, Dax and crewman Muñiz survive, and Doctor Bashir runs toward the breach to drag Dax to safety.
When the torpedoes are approaching, they're coming in at about 50 meters per second. That's about 180 km/hour. 112 MPH. My CAR is faster than that! No weapon in space can be that slow, they'd never hit anything.
It's said that Dax got full lungs of fluorine.
Actually this would be lethal. Her lungs would have been complete burned.
At 37:16 Quark removes the firing diode and the torpedo powers down and light goes out, but at 40:32 the torpedo is shown lit again.
Beginning at 13:25 when Dr. Bashir and Lt. Dax huddle together for warmth while trapped in the turbo lift, one can see the edge of Alexander Siddig's wristwatch on his left hand just inside of his sleeve cuff.
