- The SGC is contacted by a strange man called Martin, a conspiricist who believes he is an alien. The question is, how does Martin know about the Stargate and how come he has a gate address and is he being drugged by others?
- SGC is contacted by Martin Lloyd, a conspiracist who knows too much about the Stargate to be ignored, so how did he learn? When O'Neill meets him and fails to put him on the wrong track, Martin believes himself to be an alien and offers to show Jack his spaceship, but fails to find it. Martin knows about the Stargate; how does he have a gate address, and is he being drugged by others? Using police surveillance equipment, Daniel and Sam find Martin's home, inside they find psychiatric medication and a diary. Dr. Fraiser finds that his drugs, prescribed by psychiatrist Dr. Peter Tanner, were laced with unidentified chemicals which could possibly be the cause of his delusions. Martin finds Jack and Teal'c and demands to be 'returned home' through the Stargate, he even wrote down a seven-sign address from a vision. He finds the clearing where his ship is hidden, but says the craft is a mere pod - there must be a much larger ship. Meanwhile, Tanner, and two sinister operatives who refuse to identify themselves, capture Daniel and Sam, and threaten them with torture. Martin's memories start to fit a Goa'uld enslavement scenario. Tanner's trio then captures Martin; and Jack and Teal'c tail them, but more surprises await.—KGF Vissers
- After Martin Lloyd leaves a lengthy message for Jack O'Neill revealing that he's aware of the Stargate project, Jack meets him in a restaurant. Martin is a conspiracy nut who who sees secret government programs everywhere he looks. Martin tells him that he doesn't belong on Earth and believes he is an alien from outer space. His description of the Stargate and the early Goa'uld visits to Earth are pretty close to the mark. He offers to show them his ship, which is buried deep underground. Sam, Daniel and Teal'c search Martin's house and find material that seems to support his story. They also find a large assortment of medication that testing shows has been modified in some way, which leads them to conclude that Martin may be telling the truth.—garykmcd
- During a briefing with the SG-1, General Hammond plays audio from a man named Martin Lloyd who has contacted the SGC, showing knowledge of the Stargate program. Jack schedules a meeting with Martin in a cafe while Teal'c, Sam and Daniel use surveillance equipment to monitor him. The paranoid man believes he is an alien, has many conspiracy theories, and seems to be unbalanced under medication. While Jack and Teal'c pretend to believe his delusions, Sam and Daniel seek out the doctor that prescribed his medicines.
