- After a long absence, Jacob Carter returns to the SGC to tell Jack that the galaxy is under threat of takeover by the Replicators. The Goa'uld are under attack from the Replicators and are quickly being eliminated. Ba'al's armies are being destroyed and he arrives at SGC to suggest they work together to defeat their common enemy. Carter's doppelganger, RepliCarter, is leading the attack and she has kidnapped Daniel Jackson in the hope of learning of any weapons the Ancients may have created that could defeat them. Jackson gets help from an unexpected source - the Ancient, Oma Desala - or so he thinks.—garykmcd
- After the Replicators' fake Sam deliberately gets taken prisoner, so they can kill the system lords aboard and take over Goa'uld ships, assimilating their technology, Jacob Carter braves limitations imposed by the less trusting Tok'ra high council to bring a device showing at what speed replicators are taking over Goa'uld planets and eliminating cultures, and urge to mobilize all forces. While Sam joins Thor to search for an effective weapon, Ba'al offers an unholy alliance to fight the unprecedented threat for all, but is turned down by Jack. Ancient Oma Desala offers Daniel, while kidnapped by RepliCarter, a confusing, vague choice to ascend again, hoping he can then stop the Replicators overrunning the galaxy. The Jaffa seize the opportunity to seize 'home planet' Dakara, which proves an Ancvient home and harbors the ultimate weapon, which Ba'al wants to seize and overthrow his master Anubis.—KGF Vissers
- When a Goa'uld cargo ship is caught entering a neutral zone, it is learned that Carter is the pilot and is taken before the System Lords. It is then revealed that she is the Replicator version and has launched an all out war against the Goa'uld. If the Goa'uld can't stop the replicators, the replicators will overrun the galaxy in a matter of weeks. Can the people of the Milky Way find a way to stop them or will the galaxy fall to an enemy worse than the Goa'uld.—Anonymous
