- While collecting artifacts on a distant planet, Daniel Jackson is knocked out after touching a mirror-like object. He awakens in the same room but is unable to locate the other members of SG-1. Assuming that they left without him, he dials up his return home but gets there to find that he is in a different reality. In this world, General Jack O'Neill and Catherine Langford are in charge of the Stargate program; Hammond is a Colonel reporting to O'Neill; and Sam Carter is a civilian scientist working on the project (and also engaged to O'Neill). More importantly, Earth is under attack from the Goa'uld who have already killed over 1 billion people. Carter believes that somehow, Jackson is from a parallel dimension. When Jackson learns the point of origin of the Goa'uld attack, he wants to return to his own universe, believing that his Earth will be similarly attacked.—garykmcd
- Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c arrive in an alien facility on planet P3R-233 and Daniel collects objects in a separate room. Teal'c warns that the place is radioactive and Jack summons the team to return to the Stargate Command. Daniel activates a mirror-like object and touches it; then he does not find the group and believes they have returned home. Daniel returns to the SGC and is arrested. Soon he learns that the persons do not know him and are allocated in different positions and he concludes that he is in an alternative Earth. Further, Earth is doomed under massive attack by the Goa'uld.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- While exploring an alien stargate complex on P3R-233, Daniel Jackson finds an alien artifact that appears to be a mirror and touches it, receiving a mild jolt. Not thinking anything of it, Daniel goes on to find the rest of SG-1 who appear to have left him behind. Traveling to Earth, Daniel finds himself in an alternate reality where O'Neill is the general in charge, Carter is a civilian scientist, Catherine Langford is the civilian head of the program, and he never joined the program. What's worse is that the Goa'uld are invading Earth, killing 1.5 billion people. With Teal'c leading the Jaffa assault on Stargate Command, Daniel must escape through the stargate with information that might save his world from such a grim fate or convince his counterparts in this alternate reality to help prevent a similar apocalypse in his own.—timdalton007
