- When SG-1 goes to the planet Cimmeria, seeking allies against the Goa'uld, it has a Viking culture but the Stargate is guarded by a device known as Thor (the Norse thunder god), which screens them with blue beams and finds Teal'c to have a symbiont, reason to harm him- Jack tries to pull him away, so both are drawn into a subterranean labyrinth inside a mountain. There the holographic image of Thor, in the divine Viking image but proclaiming to be the Asgard supreme commander, tells them they are caught in a trap for Goa'uld intruders: a prison without any comfort, the only way out is to face 'the Hammer'. They soon find the labyrinth inhabited by the monstrous amphibian-looking Unas, a carnivorous species which was used as Goa'uld hosts before the Jaffa. Outside Daniel and Sam learn as much from two Viking women, one of whom once survived the Hammer: Daniel hopes this is the one way to deliver his Jaffa wife Sha're from her symbiont, but Jack can never get Teal'c out as long as the Hammer works...—KGF Vissers
- The SG-1 team travels to a planet that has remnants of Scandinavian Viking culture. The Stargate is guarded by a statue of Thor that scans the new arrivals. When it gets to Teal'c it identifies the Goa'uld host and transports him - and Col. O'Neill who gets in the way - to an underground facility known by the locals as the Labyrinth. There they are told by a holographic image that the planet has been designated by the Asgard as a safe haven and that the Goa'uld must die. Sam Carter and Daniel Jackson set off to find them with Kendra, a local woman who was once the host for a Goa'uld but had the infection removed by Thor's hammer on exiting the labyrinth. Jackson immediately sees the opportunity to save his wife. The issue is how to extricate Teal'c without killing him.—garykmcd
- Daniel has the theory that the Stargates have been built by aliens that wanted to help men and the Goa'uld have just used them. Teal'c suggests that they go to planet Cimmeria that also hate the Goa'uld. On the arrival, a beam sends O'Neill and Teal'c to a labyrinth inside caves. Daniel and Sam meet the local leader, Gairwyn, who tells that a woman, Kendra, had succeeded to get rid of the Goa'uld that possessed her and survived and she goes with Daniel and Sam to meet her. Kendra guides them to the caves where O'Neill and Teal'c are. Meanwhile O'Neill discovers that Teal'c cannot leave the place protected by Thor's Hammer that destroys Goa'uld. Further, they are trapped inside the cave with the evil Unas and Teal'c's weapon does not work inside the cave.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
