I want him and I don't care how tough it is!
kapelusznik1830 April 2014
***SPOILERS*** The dark past catches up with SFPD Let. Det. Mike Stone, Karl Malden, when crazed psycho rapist murderer Lenny Cord, Jo Don Baker, is released from prison for good behavior. Planning to get revenge against Det. Stone for putting him behind bars for 12 years Lenny is now planning to kidnap his daughter Jeannie, Darleen Carr, and do to her what he does best: Rape & murder Jeannie. In fact to show that he means business Lenny murders Jeannie's best friend fellow collage student Valarie Mercer, Julie Mannix, who was on the same bus that Jeannie was on to make, at the end of a knife, his point!

The usually cool Det. Stone almost blows the case in blowing his top and attacking and punching out Lenny, who's about a half foot taller 50 pounds heavier and 20 years younger, in the police station in front of some dozen witnesses! But it's Lenny who screws up by planning to murder Let. Stone, whom he was after the entire time, and ending up getting winged, shot, by him instead.

***SPOILERS*** Helpless from Stone's gunshot wound and begging to be put down, killed, all Det. Stone does and smiles at the pathetic Lenny Cord as the police show up to cart him away in their meat wagon to spend the rest of his natural life behind bars in San Quentin prison where hopefully for Det.Stone he'll serve along long time and in good health and in solitary confinement far and away from any human contact.

Not bad!

Warning: Spoilers
I remember seeing this episode back in the late 80's of a cable feed from Detroit. Never saw the ending cause it was late night! Beyond Vengeance has a Cape Fear story. Of a con wanting revenge from detective Mike Stone. There is a murder on a bus, and the Walking Tall guy is out for revenge. The story of a slow burn with Mike's daughter and a cat and mouse game with Mike and Steve. I got to see the ending after all those year it was lame but watchable. 6 stars not bad.
