Walter Slezak stars as Mr. Van Dyke, the owner of an antiques store who is having a lucky streak...an unlucky streak! A huge deal which will bail him out of bankruptcy is on hold...and if he could somehow complete it, he's sure he will be okay. But when the super-valuable sedan chair finally arrives, his huge deal turns into a huge dud, as the chair is broken into pieces. Perhaps by using a bit of larceny he could STILL manage to complete the sale...but it'll need the help of a very strange but talented young man.
This episode is funny...not in a laugh out loud way...but still funny. Slezak is very good with the material and the episode is well worth your time...mostly so you can watch Van Dyke scheme!
