"Funny Girl" is playing at the time, which would coincide with the time frame in which the play Sally Kellerman's character has a role in would be playing on Broadway, i.e. November 1966.
The character of Don Hollinger (Ted Bessell) does not appear in this episode.
The title references a theater term spoken to performers going on stage. The theater superstition that wishing someone good luck is considered back luck, thus a negative remark should bless the performer with good luck.
This was one of the few episodes in which Ted Bessell did not appear.
