Synopsis: Ruth Buzzi comes to stay with Ann for a few days and brings a hunky but oddball boyfriend along. When they have an argument, Ann and Donald take Ruth out on a series of blind dates.
Larry-view: A+. One of the best. Funny script with tight, witty dialog throughout. Marlo, Ted, and the hunky boyfriend come off perfectly and sparkling in their respective characters. Ruth less so but still comes across well with her silly style of hamming and somersaults. The various blind dates also come off well as colorful caricatures. Laugh out loud stuff all through. This is the classic Donald that made this show famous: lovable, charming, handsome, nice, and funny. Marlo is absolutely scintillating: drop dead gorgeous, glowing, adorable, larger than life. This is also the classic Ann Marie that made this show famous. If more "That Girls" would have been of this quality this show would have ranked up there with I Love Lucy and other classics.
