  Burt Gummer : Vietnam?

  Cletus Poffenberger : Seemed like everybody had given up on the war except the hardliners in the military and at Proud Foot. They thought 4-12 could track down North Vietnamese soldiers in the jungle at night. Maybe even root the VC out of the tunnels in Cu Chi province. Hell, 4-12 is expendable. Kill one, they'd send a dozen more just like him.
