This episode sports an impressive list of guest stars...Roy Thinnes (of "The Outer Limits"), Robert Blake and Wayne Rogers. Thinnes plays Captain Pridie, a man who was a pilot trainer back in the States. He's been assigned to the 918th and his job initially is to ride with pilots to check out their ability to fly on instruments. But Pridie has changed and now he's a humorless jerk who is unnecessarily tough on the pilots. And, it turns out this is to mask his own fears of actually one day flying in combat!
The plot is original...something often missing by season three. Well worth seeing.
