- A dinner party for Bill Stockton's birthday is interrupted by a bulletin warning of an impending nuclear attack. As the neighbors scramble to prepare, they turn against the Stockton's, the only family that installed a bomb shelter.
- Dr. Bill Stockton has prepared well for any eventuality. He's built a bomb shelter for himself, his wife and his child. His neighbors, on the other hand, have done nothing to prepare. During a dinner party, there is an emergency announcement on the radio that unidentified objects have been sighted en route to the US and they may be under attack. As the Stocktons prepare to use their shelter their neighbors panic asking to be let into the shelter with them. Stockton refuses, leading to an angry confrontation.—garykmcd
- In a suburb nearby New York City, the neighbors of the beloved Dr. Bill Stockton offer a surprising anniversary dinner party to him. Dr. Stockton has been their family doctor for generations, and they make fun of him since he has spent many days and resources building a bomb shelter below his house. Out of the blue, there is a bulletin warning that several unidentified objects have been detected and it might be a nuclear attack. The neighbors run to their houses while Dr. Stockton, his wife and son take supplies to the shelter. But soon, his neighbors return to Dr. Stockton's home asking for shelter in a space sized for three persons only.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
