For Once, The 'Minor' Stories Better
ccthemovieman-120 January 2007
A snotty, bitter son of a deceased SpecOp Unit member comes to the "Day Of the Dead" social - actually a nice tribute in which relatives of deceased Unit members are invited and honored (mainly spouses) - armed with a tape recording trying to smear the Unit. He claims they lied to him about his dad's death and he is going to expose them now that he's a reporter for the "Times." (No wonder he's arrogant, snotty and misinformed!)

Meanwhile, swindled last week by a shrewd wife-and-husband team posing as an ex-military wife and a real estate agent, Molly follows up on the case via Army records. The local police say the case is cold but she's confident she can track down the crooks with the help of the Army. She does....but there isn't a necessarily happy ending.

In a third story and a connection to the tribute to the widows, Bob finds out what that could mean or might mean or...well, whatever. This little part is one of the few humorous segments I've seen on this show so far this year, but there is a happy ending to this one and a good moral message about staying true to your wife.

This is first episode I've watched where the human-interest sidebar stories were better than the main action story (which I didn't find that interesting.)
