Joyce Van Patten plays a stripper...that alone makes this one worth seeing!
planktonrules27 March 2016
Some time ago, Johnny Mizo (Rip Torn) stole from the big bad boss, Vince Majesky (Claude Akins). He's been on the lam and living life as a seaman. Now, several years later, Mizo is sneaking back into the States...and Majesky's men are waiting there at the dock to kill him. Unfortunately, they killed the wrong man...giving Mizo a chance to escape and Majesky a big headache! Majesky wants Mizo dead...and his $200,000! So Mizo goes looking for his sister-in-law...perhaps she can help him. But he doesn't know where she is and an old friend, a stripper (Joyce Van Patten), knows where he can find her. But she also knows too much and Mizo soon makes sure the stripper keeps her mouth shut...permanently. Nice guy, huh? Soon he shows up at his sister-in-law's house...and he's not exactly welcome!

The strange thing in this episode was seeing Joyce Van Patten play a stripper. She usually played nice girl next door or motherly sorts and seeing her playing a bad girl was pretty odd casting. Otherwise it's an interesting story..especially when he meets his smart-mouth nephew...a teen who is more than willing to say it like it is! However, by the end of the film, that kid's gonna need some therapy!!

Claim the stolen loot
bkoganbing1 February 2014
Mobster Claude Akins's goons kill some poor sailor from Brazil and miss the real target, fugitive Rip Torn who with his brother heisted $200,000.00 from Akins. The brother was killed and Torn left the country. But Akins has been patiently awaiting his return to claim the stolen loot.

Now that Torn knows Akins knows he's in the country, he hides out with his sister-in-law Virginia Christine and his nephew Tim Considine. And with a very hostile nephew Torn goes looking for the loot as both Robert Stack and The Untouchables and Akins and his men look for Torn.

Nice performances from the ensemble cast though I could not figure out what the mission of the Treasury Department was in this story.
