2 months have past since Big Cy and his cohorts went to attack against the Whiskers at their burrow in the previous season's cliffhanger. It's winter and food is scarce, which is hard on the group since Flower has given birth to yet another litter! Youssarian is tired of licking Zaphod's boots... um, I mean paws! He leaves the group in search for some female company. Also, we get an update on most of the meerkats who were in the danger zone as of episode 1.13 and Kinkajou's role in the Whiskers group is finally revealed.

This episode is possibly the most gruesome yet, because of a certain horrific scene near the end. The Whiskers get into a fight with a bird couple over eggs. Mitch's litter-brother Einstein take a chance to approach the eggs when the birds are occupied with attacking the rest of the group. Will he be successful? The Commandoes - led by a mysterious fellow called Hannibal - go on a brutal attack against another gang. Things go particularly scary though when a meerkat is not only killed but seemingly feasted upon as well!

A subordinate meerkat evicting someone from the family is extremely unusual but in this episode, Mozart does just that to one of her sisters. Will this backfire on Mozart, or will Flower - who is supposed to be the leader - continue to tolerate this? As if things weren't strange enough already, Flower kills and devours a very large catch. The babysitting doesn't go smoothly as one of Youssarian's nieces wanders off while under his watch.
