Trivia The models were sold to Britt Allcroft in 1991, and were used (although heavily modified) in Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends as set dressing until 2009, when it became a CGI animated series. In 2013, eighteen of the original models were sold to the Star Tugs Company Ltd. (formerly The Star Tugs Trust) with the intention of having them restored for public display. See more »
