A startled, jumpy Patty arrives home after witnessing a hit and run accident outside Mr. McDonald's (Barney Martin, "Seinfeld") store. She feels it was a gangster act and refuses to get involved for fear of being "rubbed out". However, she loses her bracelet at the scene that can identify her. Mr. McDonald comes to return it and tells Martin and Natalie that the accident was his nervous son-in-law trying to take his pregnant wife to the hospital while in labor. When a suspicious man comes to the door asking who lived there, Cathy answers to nervously send him away. This only furthers Patty's state of panic. Perhaps her instincts were right though.
