Mary wishes she had found a ceremonial moon artifact. Dick says, in a bad Jimmy Stewart voice, "Do you want the moon, Mary?" In the 1946 Frank Capra film "It's a Wonderful Life," Jimmy Stewart says to his Mary, "Do you want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down."
When Dick first appears at the archaeological dig to which Mary has invited him, he is clearly dressed as Indiana Jones, complete with fedora, leather jacket and whip. (The audience, recognizing this immediately, applauds and cheers.) Dick later reveals he has brought a treasure map, further establishing the Dr. Jones image.
