I saw this documentary and I think it takes you on one of the biggest emotional rollercoasters that television has offered in a long time. I really want to commend everyone who was involved with this project. I also think that Darryl McDaniels is extremely brave, not only for pursuing finding his adoptive mother, but to do it on a documentary for all to watch. With this documentary, DMC has given a voice to what it is like to be a child without an ancestral identity. This documentary was excellent because I totally went through all of the emotions with him as I was watching in my room. I felt his pain, nervousness, joy, and disappointment. I was so proud of him for having the courage to do what it took so that he, as well as his child, can know his family history. Thank you, DMC, for telling your story because you have no idea how many people can relate to what you went through.
