Father figure
kosmasp19 June 2021
With a father like this ... but to be fair there are way worse fathers out there. Still if you are in prison and get a day off to attend to your sons wedding ... well if you don't spend the most amount of time with your son and the other relatives ... that says a lot about you. So while our main character is not really likeable in an easy way, he is sort of fun to watch from a distance. The little schemes he's planning, him trying to get back at the person who he thinks is responsible for him being in prison ... predictable to find out who actually is that person, but still fun.

And there are a few twists and turns and the idea of good and evil not being so easily distinguishable. The last punch, the last something special is missing to help this being elevated farther than it already does ... as it is, it is a neat little low budget production.

Even for Erik Clausen this is low.

Not being a huge fan of Erik Clausen, I wanted to see if he had improved since recent movies.

It turns out NOT! The cast for this movie is excellent, all of the stereotypes are there. But the acting and the plot was utterly useless! A few lines, are good, and underline the stereotypes.

I expected a lot more acting talent from Henrik Bruhn, who is an acknowledged danish stand-up comedian. But of all the actors in this movie, he was the worst! Overall a two stars, for a few lines, and a good cast..

Don't waste your time unless you are really enthusiastic!
