Tiara Girls is a pretty good show. I will watch it. The only thing I have a problem with is the individual girls can be really stupid sometimes. If you are really smart and are considered "not-shallow", I'm not sure you'd like this show. One girl doesn't know the name of the vice-president. She believes it's Kennedy. I am appalled at the amount of money parents will spend to get their daughters to win. There's gowns, swimming suits, trainers, makeup and hair specialists, the list goes on and on. I also don't like the pressure that parents put on their daughters. On the show, I have heard fathers call their daughters fat. That's why people are anorexic and bulimic! Overall, this show is entertaining but cruel.

Tiara girls is a good show, overall it is exactly what it promises, a reality television show for teenage girls. However, it is very cruel and sometimes painful to watch. Today I was watching an episode where Jamie's parents were sitting at the dinner table and were insulting her on how her arms "jiggle" and how she used to be more "athletic looking" a year before. Also once Jamie asked her mom if she could have a donut, and her mom let her, but didn't let her eat anything for the rest of the day. I really feel sorry for Jamie, her parents are putting her under too much pressure, and practically want her to be anorexic. They do not accept her and act as though she NEEDS TO WIN THE PAGEANT TO BE IMPORTANT AND BEAUTIFUL, when no award can provide you with that. These shows are exactly what causes girls to have insecurities, and for that reason I was upset with Tiara girls.
All is fair in love and pageants.

in my opinion, I think that Tiara girls is a very good show. they don't just show the rude people who get what they want, they show real people striving to win a pageant. sometimes the girls will get catty and freak out, but for the most part they are down to earth. the majority of people on this show are girls. some girls will have strong meanings in winning a pageant. they do not just show miss California pageants, they show local unknown pageants too. some will go drastic lengths to win. some people wear expensive dresses and have coaches, and some people don't. watch this show. its great! and remember, i you love any other M.T.V show then this is perfect for you!

The show is typical MTV so called reality.. just remember when you watch it that there are some great edits, and they are showing you only 18mins of hundreds of hours filmed.. I think it is great to get to know all of the characters, the struggles, the tears and that kind of stuff, these girls are vulnerable and they are doing it in front of millions of people.. if you can get past the "beauty pageant" stigma then you can enjoy knowing that there are some really special girls out there doing something other than drugs, and stuff.. these girls are doing what it takes to make them happy whether it is winning a crown or just the experience of it all.. it's nice to see parents care even if it is too much to most.. they are there for their children, give them all a hand!!! Besides, pageants are one of the fastest growing businesses in America and they aren't going away.. lets all enjoy the inside look!!!
